What started as a slow and boring civic turned into a pretty fun toy. The civic was originally born in 1996 as a boring base model civic. No luxury options and a slow 1400 cc engine. It’s owner bought the car about 5 years ago and was pretty sure the car would turn into a real “fast and furious” car. Lucky for him the funds were pretty low at that time and he just rolled around with some 17 inch wheels and a loud exhaust. Slowly he became a fan of cleaner styled or name it “jdm” cars. He started with lowering the car and everything got on it’s way from there. When we started working as APE-garage it was obvious all the little and big projects would be performed by APE. The suspension and brake updates, the engine swap, the interior. Pretty much everything came out of APE-garage his workshop. The car runs pretty damn well and handles like a charm. The car is used as a semi-daily car. It’s used just for fun drives and trackdays. The car ran the dutch TT-circuit and the legendary Nürburgring Nordschleife. More tracks will be tackled in 2010 no doubt about it. We’re also pretty sure a lot of changes and updates will follow. Stay tuned!
